Happy Tuesday families and friends… What a super fun day of learning and play in the Toddler room today. This morning the children explored the room, chasing bubbles, working on the transport and animal puzzles, reading books, building ramps for the trains, grocery shop play and role playing in home corner. Miss Gabby then joined the group for yoga. The children assisted Miss Gabby with setting up the mats and then settled ready for the good morning songs. The children practiced their yoga poses along with dancing with the ribbons and then relaxed on the mat for tickles from the feathers.
The children then gathered on the mat to work collaboratively together to build with the wooden train tracks. Miss Jess brought over the basket and the Toddler Friends dived in, pulling out bits of track and the trains. A few of the children worked in little groups building together, while others sat working on their own portion of the track. After a little while, some of the Toddlers worked alongside Miss Jess and created a BIG track. They then took turns driving the trains around the tracks. The children then transitioned to a delicious lunch chicken and salad wraps before heading off to have a rest.
