This morning Miss Gabi had the best idea to start setting up the room with Christmas decorations to get into the festive spirit early. I thought why not if the supermarkets and retail shops are doing it then why not us. After we were satisfied with the progress we had made with the decorations we decided to play a game of hide and seek. Firstly Miss Steph counted while everyone hid…. Grace was the first one found so then it was her turn to count and our turn to hide. This time she was again to find Miss Steph first. After we finished our game of hide and seek we were then ready for group time were we sang our good morning and days of the week song along with this years 5 featured nursery rhymes for World Nursery Rhyme Week 2020 are: ‘Wheels On The Bus’, ‘Five Little Speckled Frogs’, ‘Hickory Dickory Dock’, ‘Old MacDonald Had A Farm’ and ‘Miss Polly Had A Dolly’.
Included in the Christmas decorations was todays activity of painting card to make a Christmas tree where the children then used glue to cover the tree decoration and add sparkles as well. And tomorrow we will add more to it and continue each day with something new.
