Good afternoon and hello from Toddlers One!
This morning we welcomed our friends; Ruby, Thomas, Abel, Halle, Bella, Luna, Diego, Millie, Charlie, Augie, Liz, Quintin and Ariana! We enjoyed a busy morning outdoors riding the bikes, blowing bubbles, reading books, and racing down the slide! We had an early morning tea where we gobbled down Fruity Breakfast Pancakes all together indoors!
We then sat down with Miss Jordan to get ready and put our hats and shoes on to make our way down to the senior building for the special Wildlife show! When we got into the Kindy 2 room we all sat facing the stage and waited patiently! As the show started our friends were amazing with using their listening ears and watching each Australian animal! We listened, learned about and pat an owl, blue tongue lizard, frill neck lizard, a turtle, snake, and a baby crocodile!! It was so cool to touch them and feel the different textures of these beautiful animals!
Afterward, we made our way back up and enjoyed spontaneous play outdoors before lunch! We had a lovely time on the swing together and sandpit cooking! Closer to lunchtime we sat down all together and read “Bear goes to the beach” and “That old lady swallowed a fly”! We sang ‘Bee Bee” to transition indoors to fill our tummies with Yummy Spaghetti Bolognaise for lunch!
