Happy Wednesday families and friends..
Today the Toddler children had a fabulous day of learning and play. This morning the children explored the great outdoors and quickly made their way to their favourite play experiences. Colton and Harper enjoyed turns on the swing as Colton called out ”higher, higher” as the children swung back and forth enjoying the wind in their hair. Harper then invited her friend Kezia to join her on the swing as Harper started singing some of her favourite songs. Miss Leesa then collected the water trough and Banjo and Henry helped Miss Leesa collect buckets of water from the sink to fill the trough in the sandpit. Banjo noticed the buckets were “very heavy” as he carefully made his way to the sandpit trying not to spill. The children then happily worked together to pour water into the water mills and then try and catch the water in the cups as it flowed. Colton then started adding sand to the trough as the children soon discovered the sand sank to the bottom of the water trough. The water play kept all our friends nice and cool during our extended outdoor play time. Other outdoor play experiences today included racing the bikes on the bike track, digger play in the sandpit and taking turns on the big slide…
