What a wonderful Wednesday we had here in the Toddler Room. The Toddlers got a treat this morning when we borrowed the ball pit from the Babies Room for in the yard. The balls soon ended up in the sandpit, prams, wheelbarrows and everywhere else in the yard. Other outdoor activities included manoeuvring the diggers in the sandpit, throwing the balls through the basketball hoops and making our way through the obstacle course.
Once inside, the Lego was an instant hit! The Toddler’s were busy building all sorts of wonderful things. The children also utilised the vehicle mats to drive their cars on and build some railway tracks on too. One of the Toddlers then brought some books over to Miss Leesa to read for an impromtpue Yarn Time. While Miss Leesa was reading books and singing songs with the children, Miss Jess set up a playdough activity on the table with loose parts. The children rushed over as soon as they realised what was there. They had a blast building towers with the wooden logs, decorating the playdough with the coloured plexi glass and engaging in conversation with their peers.
Until next time…..
Love Miss Leesa & Miss Jess
