Hello families and friends and welcome to another fun-filled down of fun and play in the Toddler room. This morning the children explored the great outdoors, engaging in a variety of play experiences. Asher, Zander and Ellie took turns with the fishing game as they practiced their fine motor, hand/eye coordination skills to catch the crab, fish and octopus with the magnetic rods. Asher and Zander then moved onto role play, pretending to drive the truck and Ellie climbed into the back as the passenger. Harvey had a wonderful time swinging back and froth on the green dinosaur and Harry spent some quiet time browsing through the picture book. Kaylee and Sophie engaged in role play with the baby dolls and animals. We then all transitioned  indoors for our yarn time and morning tea. Yarn time we shared a story about Australian animals entitled ‘A Bush Birthday’ a book about a little koala who  invites all his bush animal friends to his birthday party. The children decided they all really liked  the platypus and the possum playing in the tree. Play time today the children chose to make transport vehicles from the Lego set and then Miss Jess prepared a painting experience for the children to create red handprints  for a special display coming soon. All the children then excitedly transitioned outdoors for our weekly ARAKAN session with Mr Daniel… WOW…. What a super busy day at kindy today…

Love Miss Leesa and Miss Jess
