What another wonderful day of exploration, discovery and play in the Toddler room today. After morning tea we applied our sunscreen and hats and the children were given the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor environment. Harper climbed and balanced on the obstacle course, Kaylee and Ivy proudly showed off their climbing. skills as they played follow the leader on the fort. The children then transitioned to engaged in sand play with the dump trucks, rakes and sifters. Miss Jess prepared an outdoor art experience where the children utilised a photo of themselves as inspiration to create self-portraits with the water colours. The children had a wonderful time expressing their creativity as they observed the paint creating patterns and running down the page. Miss Jess accidently spilt some paint which ended up splashing all over her face. Ooops… Other play experiences today included completing the puzzles, having races around the bike track and ball play..
