Happy Wednesday♥
Hello families of the Toddlers Two room, welcome to our day♥
This morning we started in the Toddlers one room, exploring throughout the room and enhancing on friendships. When Miss Jess arrived we all helped pack away, grabbed our hats and slip, slopped, slapped sunscreen on and headed for the great outdoors. Most of the children headed for water play, there is no better way to keep cool this summer. Some of our other friends thoroughly enjoyed climbing the playground and jumping on the bridge with Miss Jess and friends. The sandpit and climbing the obstacles was a hit this morning too with our friends getting there adventurous side out.
Today for our morning routine we had all friends sit on the mat outside before washing hands and sitting down for a blissful outside picnic. After morning tea we all had so much fun as we spent the morning doing water play in extension to their great interest. We filled two tubs up with water and soap and then we did goop in a black tray. Watching how the children interacted and letting their imagination flow was amazing. Water play does truly spark imagination, enhances on sensory and development of language too. Goop was an extra bit of fun and sensory thrill to add to it this morning. Some children were a bit unsure while others LOVED IT.
After our morning glory we all got changed and ready for a little group time before we helped make our beds before scrumptious lunch. Then we sang “Tiny Turtle”, “Cheeky Monkey” and “ABC” All children respond greatly to nursery rhymes and group time.
This afternoon we all were ready and eager to discover more joy in the outdoors as we all feel refreshed and energised after our sleep.
