Happy Friday Families and Friends! 🙂
A super warm welcome from Toddlers Two classroom!

Today we welcomed in our crew Avery, Jackson B, Indi, Jackson C, Thomas, Mathias, Cameron, Edward, Noah, Finley, Leiana, Kynell, Max, Spencer and Noa!

Another wonderful day to explore and spend time with all our friends around here – the toddlers children were so excited to play and explore the environment today!
Our day began with our friends having so much fun searching for their self interest toys and games inside the room – constructing with connect blocks, playing with cars in the car mat and playing with the puppets were the most favourites experiences in the classroom.
When the sun came up and it was warm enough we put our sunscreen and hats on and started our adventure on the playground – we then headed off to the yard, this morning activity was balls games. Jackson, Noah, Finley and Max enjoyed playing catch and throw with the ball. Jackson C, Mathias and Cameron liked running to pick the ball up and Noa, Leiana and Every enjoyed playing together on the swing. Kynell, Edward and Thomas had so much pushing the balancing bikes around the yard.

The time flies when we are having such a great fun with our friends! Then it was time to start our morning routine

Miss Gabi called all our friends to came inside and get comfy in the group mat before morning tea time. Today we had a special story  to read at group time with a new book about sea animals, as this is our focus for the week.  the book called ” HIDE and SEEK under the sea” and our friends loves searching for the sea creatures behind the printed felt flags, everybody were so engaged in the story listening very carefully and having a guess as to what was behind the flaps in the book. ♥
Once the story had finished we sang our favourite nursery rhyme songs. we sang ” bee bee bumble bee” at the very end of group time to transition to washing our hands to then sit down at the tables for morning tea.

For our morning tea today we had a delicious Mango Tango Coconut granola Cups served with medley of seasonal fresh fruits.

With our tummies full it was time to continue playing and learning around here.

In our group experience today Miss Gabi organized a sensory learning experience for our friends, also following the children interests for cutting and continue working in our weeks topic we made a ” HIDE AND SEEK” sensory experience, extending in the story we read i our group time.
In one table we had sea animals cover in cooked pasta, in the colour blue. Using the appropriate age scissor, our friends needed cutting the spaghetti off to figure out
what animal was under it.
In another table our friends needed to hide the sea animals, using tongs our friends learned to transporting pasta from the tray to their plates to cover the creatures with spaghetti.
The children demonstrated excellent process into the activity, they were cooperative and confident in the play and loved the little mess 🙂
This learning experience was sensory based, supported language development, cognitive growth, motor skills, problem solving and social interaction.

In the end of the morning we had a dance class with Funky Feet.

For lunch time today we had another nutritive and yummy meal a Nourishing Italian mushroom, riccota, spinach lasagne served with a delicious salad bar.

Now we are having a lovely rest time in our beds listening to soft music and relaxing by charging our energy for another big play outside in the afternoon!

Have a beautiful weekend!

With Love, Miss Gabi, Miss Jess and Miss Hope.Â
