Happy Friday♥
Hello and welcome families to our day here in the Toddlers two room. What an eventful day we have had and I can’t wait for you all to hear about it. This morning we all started in the Toddlers One room as we waited for some of our friends to arrive before hoping out to the great outdoors to start our outdoor adventure. The children enjoyed the following activities and self spontaneous play the most.
- Hula hooping with Miss Jess
- Adventuring through the gardens
- Climbing the obstacle course
- Climbing aboard the boat ”cardboard box” the children let their wonderful imagination take action as they all decided to make the box a boat!! This was really interesting to watch this play take action.
- Watering our plants we did with all our friends
As the time flew by it was then time to come inside to have a mini group time as we were going somewhere special after morning tea. Miss Jess read a book called ”Pop up ocean” The children loved this book and watching the animals pop out on each page. We then talked about what we were all going to see this morning and that after morning tea we all need to help put shoes on, hats and sunscreen! After we all had finished eating we were all so excited to head down to the bottom centre through the back playground. The children all sat down on the veranda waiting so patiently for the Larkin Puppet Show!!!!!! The children absolutely loved the show and enjoyed dancing with glee to the songs the puppets sung and so much more! What a great experience they all got to have and we are so appreciative we got to be apart of it. When the show was over we all walked so well back to our yard. We all then got ready for lunch time and a well energised sleep.
This afternoon all children ran outside with excitement to end there wonderful Friday here at Riversdale Early Learning Centre.
