Good Afternoon Families,
This morning Miss Thais, Miss Bec, and Miss Maddi welcomed our friends into the yard where we enjoyed the warm morning sun outside!
Our friends had an interest in a lot of activities this morning; they enjoyed playing imaginary games with the native Australian animal toys, riding their bikes, crossing the net bridge, and cooking in the sandpit. After free play, we all sat down together outside and read “We are going on a bear hunt”, Parker also had a go at reading as well! The quiet reading time outside after busy play encouraged our friends to self-settle and quieten down.
After reading we then transitioned inside to wash our hands and, enjoy porridge for morning tea. After morning tea we headed next door to Toddlers 1 to do Funky Friday dancing, they all loved getting their groove on and practice coordination skills. We then went outside for more free play and before we knew it, it was time to wash our hands and have noodles and fish cakes with veggies for lunch.
