Good afternoon families,
We have had a beautiful day together! We welcomed Rumi, Ivy, Aria, Tai, Kezia, Lincoln, Onyx, Lara, Zahra, Parker and Ava to play outside before it got too hot! We put out the gym mats and sung ‘no more monkeys jumping on the bed’ while jumping up and down!! We then transitioned inside to wash our hands and have morning tea and then group time. For our group time we got out our animal box and stamped the animals feet into playdough; we talked about the different sounds each animal made and how they all have different and individual footprints.
Our friends’ favorite part of the morning was Funky Friday Dance! Our friends loved getting their groove on and incorporating pom poms into dance today too. After dance, our friends had the choice of what they wanted to play with inside; their choices were home corner, stacking blocks and connecting the train set pieces together.
After a busy morning of dance and play, we washed our hands and sat down for lunch and then a big rest!! We have had a busy and beautiful week together and are looking forward to seeing our friends next week!
