Good Afternoon Toddler Two families
Welcome to our amazing Monday to start off this beautiful week♥ We started our day by welcoming Indi, Jackson.C, Thomas, Mathias, Cameron, Beau, Edward, Noah.M, Finley, and Tai with big warm welcoming cuddles.
This morning we ventured around the room and explored various activities and personal choices to engage and play with! From scouting through the many musical instruments and sounds to crayon drawing, building trains tracks for our trains, looking through books, role playing in home corner and problem solving with puzzles! All children show that they are all confident and involved learners.
Before we knew it, it was time to help pack away the classroom before we sat on the mat with Miss Jess for group time. In group time today we read our FAVIOIRTE BOOK! ”Pirates in Pyjamas” The children are very drawn in by the illustrations on each page and to discover what is happening as the story is being read. We then sang “Tiny Turtle”, ”Open Shut Them” and ”Bee, Bee, Bumble Bee”. All children washed their hands and headed to the table for morning tea.
After everyone had packed away it was then time for ART. The children were able to paint something special that is a surprise for our wonderful Miss Kylies Birthday tomorrow! All children enjoyed painting and letting their creativity flow as they painted freely. Miss Hayley then arrived for YOGA!! We all raced over to the mat and met with Miss Hayley where we did ”Sleeping Bunnies” and some beautiful breathing with the breathing ball that went around to each friend.
As the rain seemed to stay away for a bit we thought we would take advantage of that and have a wonderful play in the outdoor environment before lunch! The children went from riding the bikes, blowing bubbles with Miss Thais, to digging in the sandpit, sliding down the slides and climbing the playground!
It was then time to come inside for scrumptious lunch before we well rested for a journey of fun this afternoon♥
Thank you all for a lovely Monday♥
See you all soon,
Miss Jess, Miss Hope and Miss Shae xx
