Happy Monday!
Today we welcome our friends Kezia, Dominic, Alexia, Willow and Lachlan in Toddlers Two Room with Miss Thais. We started our morning Outdoor with our friends from Toddlers One. The children have been choosing to play outside with the trucks, swing, pretend to cook using the utensils in the sandpit and enjoyed each others company as they sat in book area looking through some books.
Once indoors we settled on the mat where we sung our good morning songs as well as our transition songs, before washing our hands for morning tea.
This week we are going to focus in the Book ” Old Mac Donald had a farm.” We are going to be learning all about different types of farm animals. Today we played with farm animals puppets and all of them had their turn while we sang some songs as “Old Mac Donald had a Farm” and “5 little ducks”.
The children happily explored the room and engaged in free-choice play such as Lego construction and magnetic blocks.
After all this fun and active play we were very ready for our lunch. We enjoyed our chicken and vegetables before we all went so quickly to sleep.
