We started our day playing outside then when Miss Shelby arrived we came inside and joined her on the mat for group time, during group time the children learnt a new song for Halloween – 5 little pumpkins. While learning the song the children also learnt how to count to 5 using their fingers. Five Little Pumpkins is s a super fun song that teaches emotions vocabulary. One of the pumpkins is happy. Another is grumpy. Another is sleepy. Another is sad. But in the end, all of them are playing!

While painting Charlotte expressed her feelings and ideas telling Miss Shelby ” I’m painting Halloween”.
