Hello families and friends…

Welcome to another day of fun and learning in Toddlers Two Room. Outside this morning we practised our fine and gross motor skills as rode our bikes, climbed obstacle course and navigated our way around our playground.

We then transitioned indoors for our  Acknowledgement to Country and Good Morning songs.

This week we are celebration Reconciliation week. What is the Reconciliation Week?

“National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of all Australians as we move forward, creating a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between the wider Australian community, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.”

Later in the morning Miss Thais set up an activity for the children. Miss Thais showed a picture of an aboriginal flag and allowed the children to create their own. The Children glued the puzzle pieces of the flag to their flags picture. The children displayed very good fine-motor and concentration skills as they carefully spread the glue all over the paper.

We also continue working on our self help skills during our meal time our meal as the children confidently displayed their ability to use their spoons to enjoy their pasta dish for big lunch.

Love Miss Thais
