Good Afternoon Families,
This morning Miss Thais, Bec, and Maddi welcomed all of our friends into the yard where they were able to explore through obstacle courses, learn through books and songs and socialize with their friends. After a long play outside, we went inside to wash our hands and then headed back outdoors for a morning tea picnic.
After morning tea, Miss Bec and Maddi set up an activity where we took children one by one to paint their body part of the caterpillar. This week we are focusing on ‘the very hungry caterpillar’ book. Our aim is to make a big caterpillar on our wall using the children’s artwork. The children really enjoy painting peacefully and have that one on one time that they need with their educators. Outdoors, Miss Bec had set up a picnic mat for us where we played with wooden loose parts and we got out the colourful streamers that we were able to sway around the yard which the children also really loved and enjoyed, as they ran around singing their own songs.
It was then time to head indoors where we sat down for lunch. The children have had such a beautiful day.
