Good afternoon families.
We hope you had a beautiful and refreshing long weekend! This morning we welcomed Alanis, Bowie, Alia, Millie, Abel, Nikora, Lachlan, Dominic, Onyx, Parker, Nayla and Ivy into the yard. We played with the balls, bikes, the slippery slide, and obstacle course. After some lovely free play, we washed our hands and sat down outside for some pancakes and fruit. We then transitioned back inside for group and activity time! Our friends got to rotate between playing with magnets and blocks, blue playdough, and mirror play. Mirror play helps our friends to begin to build a sense of identity and strengthens their cognitive development.
To finish off our morning inside play we sang “going on a dragon hunt” and “hop little bunnies”,we then put our hats on and went outside for more free play! For lunch today our new menu for the month started and we had pumpkin pasta with cheese and vegies; our friends love pasta!
