Happy Wednesday families and friends,
Today we started the day exploring inside the Room, when Miss Thais arrived, we sat down on the mat, sang our Good morning songs and read the book “The magic hat”. Rania, Nayla, Millie, Alanis, Kezia and Zahra were very engaged in a role-play with Miss Bec while the other group included Onyx, Rumi, Abel, Lachlan, Tua, Macsen and Nikora were getting ready to adventure outdoor by applying sunscreen and hats on with Miss Maddi. This morning the children were excited to venture outdoors to explore the playground. The children were self-selected to play with balls and sandpit.
Miss Thais prepared a craft experience for the children as we prepare for Christmas where we created some Christmas cards by using different Christmas stamps and Christmas stickers. They also recognized the colours and displayed very good fine-motor and concentration skills.
We continued on with practicing our meal time self-help skills as the children confidently displayed their ability to use their forks and spoons for lunch. The children also helped pack away their dishes and place their drinks in the basket.
