Good afternoon families!
Today was such a beautiful day that we chose to start the morning outdoors. The children have been showing interest in balls and hula hoops Outdoor. Lachlan was very busy pushing the wheelbarrows through the garden and around the bike track. Onyx asked Miss Thais to get the balls. Isaiah was very busy exploring around. Alanis, Willow, Kezia, and Rania enjoyed the sandpit. Nikora loves riding bikes.
Later we transitioned inside the Room and washed our hands for morning tea. We also greeted our new friends from Babies 2 and 3 Room who are doing the transition, Millie, Abel, and Tai. We sat on the mat where Miss Thais did our Group Time morning songs and acknowledgment of the country. We also enjoyed listening to Miss Thais read the Book “Lonely” as we continue talking about our emotions…
The children have been showing interest in Playdough, so Miss Bec decided to make new playdough for us today. We are getting better at handling the cutters and rollers. Other play experiences today included Police Station, cars and trucks, magnetic blocks and role-play in home corner cooking
Now we are resting our bodies and recharging our batteries for more Outside play during the afternoon. We are also working on putting on our hats and using our ‘self-help’ skills to reapply sunscreen before venturing into the playground,
