Happy Wednesday families and friends! Today in the Toddler room the children requested playdough play as a continuation on yesterday’s sensory play experience. The children have been practising their kneading and rolling skills and also using the plastic scissors to cut the playdough into small pieces and shapes. The children also utilised the molds and shape cutters during playdough play. Child initiated play today included role play with the doll house and building farms with the lego set. Yarn time today Asher and Zander brought along two of their favourite books from home, a story about a tiger who comes to tea and a book about all different types of dinosaurs. The children continue to enjoy story time and particularly enjoy choosing their favourite books from the shelf. If your child has a favourite book they would like to share from home please bring it along as we would love to read them during our daily yarn time…
