Happy Thursday Families & Parents
Mister Don and Miss Gabi welcome Austin, Jacob, Taylah, Hamilton, Keyahlee, Elliott, Graysen, Parker, Harper, Ariah, Emily in our vacation care team!
What a beautiful learning and playtime we had today! 🙂 With warm weather, we enjoyed most of the morning time in between outside play with the paddles bikes and scooters and inside in craft experiences. The children had the opportunity to replant baby flowers in the pot plant, as well, the pot will be inside of the macrame plant holder. They get very engaged in the plant activity and each child chooses one flower to place inside their pot.
The children will be able to take the little flower pot and the macrame holders to home, to take care of the plant just need some water and love.
We are planning on having a relaxing afternoon, making macrame for the plants before letting out some of our energy in the playground. The children also enjoyed exploring and engaging with these activities coloring, imaginative play, jewelry making, board games, creating at their art table, reading and much more.
The last week of Vacation Care is almost over 🙁 and wow – what an exciting program we had! All the children that attended had a blast participating in all the activities and excursions that were on offer. So, today I will put on the high light photos of the vacation care activities.
I would like to thank all the children/families that attended these school holidays, it was so much fun and fabulous to see so many children really enjoying their school holiday break I wish all you guys the best time at school, having fun and I can`t wait to see you guys again !!! 🙂 Also, big thanks to Kristy for making this amazing Vacation care program for us and for all Riversdale staff members for support and help us.
I am feeling very grateful for being a team leader of this amazing team and also, the beautiful connection we`ve been created in between the new students, students from Kindergarten and the other friends from After School Care.
