Good afternoon families and friends. Today we continued our Christmas around the world journey as we learned about the different foods people eat at Christmas time. We learned that in some countries they have big traditional dinners with all the trimmings and in other countries there are seafood lunches or even bbqs. We even learned a little about desserts, and after our morning tea we made some White Christmas slice for our afternoon tea. After washing their hands, the children were eager to get mixing and blending the ingredients ready for the foil tray. Once done it was placed in the fridge to set. Iām sure the children were very eager for it to be ready. Other activities today have been – colouring, lots of fun with jigsaws – the mini doll house – peach snaps card game Ā & outdoors we did a commando challenge with lots of crawling, skipping, hopping and we even had to navigate our way down the yard walking backwards … this created lots of laughters and squeals of delight.
