Hello and welcome to our fun day Thursday 😊
This morning Miss Kate and Miss Jess welcome 7 hippity hop friends! Scarlett, Miller, Edward, Bentley, Isabella, Willow and Jesse. What a fabulous day we have had.
To start the morning off Miss Kate made some spooky fun spiders for Halloween with Isabella and Willow! Great development skills for fine motor using the paintbrush to pain their spiders body black! Watch this space for our fun spooky art displays!
Miss Jess read our new Halloween books to our friends this morning! The monster one was a hit with Isabella as she enjoyed touching the different textures on each page. Soon after Willow and Scarlett explored through the books as well as Jesse and Bentley! Getting in touch with their sensory play!
Edward and Miller enjoyed playing with musical instruments! They both liked exploring different sounds that were made 😊 spontaneous singing throughout the day including ‘Incy Wincy Spider’ for the extension of our Halloween spider craft.
The ABECEDARIAN approach was embeded today – enriched caregiving at routines/ transitions and conversational reading with our new books!
We have had a great day today and hope you all did too!
