Good afternoon to our lovely families,

Today we started off with some cuddles from our friends once they arrived. Lots of children enjoyed some warm cuddles from Miss Jess and Miss Hansani. While some of our friends had cuddles some of the others enjoyed exploring the room, which they found an interest in the ring stacker and texture tiles. Once everyone had arrived it was time to wash our hands and sit down at the table ready for morning tea. we filled our tummies with fruit and some yogurt which was delicious! It was then time for funky dance class with Miss Jenny. Miss Jenny had some fun activities for us to all complete which were hula-hoops, hopscotch, 5 cheeky monkeys, wheels on the bus and our favourite row row your boat. All these physical activities help develop the children gross motor skills in day-to-day life. Once we were finished Miss Hansani had gotten Nash to complete his Mother’s Day craft which he loved painting. While holding the brush he would giggle and make sounds, this will help Nash’s fine motor skills.

After we had finished the Mother’s Day craft it was time to explore outside, which we love! We all enjoyed the sandpit, climbing the bridge, sliding down the slide, making tall towers with the blocks, making different shapes with the 3D blocks, and walking the balancing beam. We loved sharing with our friends while in the sandpit, as we help give buckets and spades to each other. Miss Jess had also been singing songs and everyone came to join in. the songs which we had been singing were row row your boat, twinkle little star and ABC. Olive and Bella both knew the actions to twinkle little star which was wonderful to see. Next was time to fill our tummies which some yummy burgers for lunch, yummy, yummy we all said while eating.

We would like to say a big Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mum at the centre and to our mums in babies 2. We hope you all get spoilt on this wonderful day that is all about you! Enjoy your Mother’s Day with your children and family.  We hope you all love your wonderful gifts as well.

We would like to announce there is a Parent Educator Meeting coming up on Tuesday 1st of June 2021. This is for all parents to have the opportunity to talk to Miss Hansani about your children’s development and to have a look through the observation book. This would be a wonderful as you can ask many questions and communicate what goals you would like your child to develop at this age. The time for parents to see Miss Hansani is between 3pm until 5pm. Each family will be given 15minutes with Miss Hansani on this day. please book in what time you would like by writing on the booking sheet which will be displayed on the bag shelf.

Much Love Miss Hansani and Miss Jess xoxo
