Hello families and Friends! 😊

Happy Tuesday and welcome JUNE!

A warm welcome from Toddlers 2 and today we had the pleasure to have in our team: Avery, Jackson C, Thomas, Cameron, Beau, Edward, Noah, Finley, Oliver, Kynell, Peyton, Macsen and Adem.

Wow what a fabulous journey we are having around here today 😊 This morning the children were excited to explore and engage in a variety of fun play experiences. Our day began with our friends had a wonderful time exploring the playground, taking turns in the slides, rocking in the little dinosaur, and practicing their balance in the obstacle course.

We also went to visit out veggie garden this morning to give it a much-needed water and discovered that some of the new veggies planted had already grown. The children therefore spent some time picking various veggies and even taste testing them. They enjoyed checking out the worm farm and collect rocks as well. 😊

The time past so fast when we`re having such a great fun, then was time to hit back to the classroom and start our morning routines

Before Morning tea we had our special moment to see what friends are here today and welcome then to our group. Then all toddler`s friends set down in the mat getting ready for our group time. In our story time today, Miss Gabi read a book that calls Belonging the book explores some of the ways we can belong- A feeling of belonging is an important part of a child`s sense of well- being 😊
Then we sang some nursery rhymes and some favorited songs, as “Wheels on the bus” , “ The tiny little turtle” and “Old MacDonald’s” – and “ bee bee bumble bee” to transit to handwashing and set down on the table for our beautiful morning tea.

For morning tea today, we had a very yummy Blissful blueberry, apple ginger seedy slice, served with a medley of seasonal fresh fruits.

After morning tea our friends had the opportunity to explore the environment around and search for their self-interest play -they enjoyed engaging in:

– Cameron, Edward, Beau, Adem and Macsen enjoyed using the soft blocks as ramp and then let the car goes “ downhill”
– Oliver, Finley, Noah and Avery enjoyed spending some time connecting magnetics using their creativity to build ice cream, houses, and aeroplanes.
– Peyton, Jackson, and Thomas enjoyed relaxing in the group mat reading books and enjoying each other’s company

In our art craft table today, Miss Hope had lead a beautiful experience – Using clear contact paper, fresh flowers and leaves, she invited our friends to create their own flowers suncatcher. 😊 Our friends had done a amazing job and the suncatchers looks gorgeous 😊 Learning experience as make a suncatcher is great opportunity to continue developing their concentration skills and fine motor skills  😊 And also, they had a great  fun making it!

For lunch time today we had another delicious meal a Scrumptious Greek Spanakopita Parcel served with a yummy salad bar.

Now we are having a lovely rest time in our beds listening to soft music and relaxing by charging our energy for another big adventure outside in the afternoon!

With love, Miss Gabi, Miss Hope and Miss Jess.
