Happy Friday😊
A warm welcome from toddlers two classroom!

We’ve had a week of fun around here, exploring our beautiful indoor and outdoor environment and a wonderful variety of fantastic learning and opportunities.

The Toddlers were so excited to play and enjoy each other’s company!
Our day began with our friends having so much fun inside the classroom, looking for their self-interests games and toys. The favourite things this morning were:

  • Relaxing in read book in the group mat – The most popular book around here was “Spot going to the Farm.” Our friends loved guessing what was behind the flips and making the animals noises.
  •  Car site – The children really enjoyed putting the car up the little hill and watching it goes all the way down.
  • Home corner – Pretending they were cooking and saying “dinner time!!”

The time goes so fast when we are having so much fun with our friends and teachers, it was time to start our morning routine. For morning tea today, we had a very yummy Mango Coconut Granola served with medley of seasonal fresh fruits.

With our tummies full was time for a BIG and FUN PLAY time. All this week we have been focusing on emotion and feelings with our friends, and today we decided to do a little MESSY play for relief emotion in our little ones! In our group time today our friends used spoons and cups for scouping the flour from a tray. Our friends loved this play so much. This sensory experience was fine motor skills based and self-help skills. Messy play with flour is important to every child’s development. It helps the body and brain integrate information, such as that needed for later spatial concepts, math, and language, it is also a most relaxing and creative way to express feelings.

There was so much going on, so much noise, and so much fun around here today!

Now we had a lovely rest time on our beds listening to soft music for having another amazing playtime in this afternoon!

Have a safe and lovely weekend, see you all next week♥

With Love,

Miss Gabi, Miss Jess, Miss Hope and Miss Maddi.
