Good Evening families and friends. This afternoon our yarn time chat was followed by some painting activities Β to celebrate the Hindu custom of Diwali – this is being held tomorrow 14th November and celebrates the Hindu New Year & is also known as The Festival of Lights. This is a very exciting and colourful festival. The children created their impression of Diwali fireworks. Other things the children enjoyed were – helicopter creations with the connector blocks, name construction with the mini blocks, NAIDOC week theme colouring page, jigsaw puzzles, reading in pairs and board game fun. Enjoy your weekend everyone & we will see you all next week. Love from Miss Lyn & Miss Simona πŸ˜ŠπŸ’–πŸ˜Š
