Good afternoon families and friends. This afternoon we celebrated Floral Friday – a custom of The Torres Strait Islander People’s. The children took the opportunity to engage in crepe paper water art to create flowers to display in our room. They also showcased their creative talents by painting flowers of their individual choice. Then they chose their favourite activities to engage in and relax on a Friday afternoon after a big day at school. These activities included- puzzle play, construction with the Lego, the dinosaur set, quiet reading and word search was chosen by a few of the girls. Theses are the tried and true favourites with all the children. We hope you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend. See you all on Monday.
