Welcome to After School Care and welcome to our new friend Parker. This afternoon the children were given the opportunity to paint designs on rocks. Some chose to paint aboriginal symbols to extend on their paintings from National Reconciliation Week (last week), while others chose to just paint their rocks with patterns. Outdoors physical play was popular as the children engaged in a friendly soccer game. The big wooden blocks were also popular with Bobby and Parker building huge towers and asking Isabelle to join in. Free colouring with the gel pens was popular with Oliver, Maddison, Kaitlyn and Jordan as they sat chatting about the colours they had chosen and what colour was their favourite. All the children have enjoyed a relaxed afternoon engaging with their peers. We hope to see you all again tomorrow.
