Good afternoon families and friends. After our daily chat about our day and our afternoon tea the children chose some activities that they enjoy – the Octonauts, the dinosaur set, the magnetic tiles, reading and colouring. Our planned activity interested the girls as they drew on paper towel with texta colour and watched the colours bleed across the paper. Also Miss Nads came into the room with some Australian Scratch animals for us and once the children saw them they asked if they could make patterns on them, so I asked if they would like to use the Aborignial symbols to do this and got a resounding “YES”! They enjoyed this experience very much! Thankyou Miss Nads for thinking of us. Then a bit later after some more free colouring the children created paper planes which we took outside and took turns seeing who could fly theirs the furthest away. It’s been a fun afternoon . See you all tomorrow. We also wish Jordan a very Happy Birthday for Friday.
