Hello and welcome to Happy Friday in the Babies 1 room! We only had two little friends today – Luca and Willow were welcomed by Miss Kate, followed by Miss Jess arriving for the day! We started off our day outside in the nice sunshine, exploring the cars on the mat, practicing our concentration span with some puzzles and having a turn on the obstacle course! We then headed inside for some morning tea consisting of fruit bread, strawberries, melon and kiwi fruit. We encourage the children’s self-help skills and independence at mealtimes trying to spoon feed themselves by being a supportive environment. Willow explored some finger paints to make some fishes to add to our Aquarium display! The children are confident and involved learners experimenting with curiosity and coordination through the use of creative experience such as painting. Luca and Willow did some dancing and looked at books with Miss Jess today too which encourages their language development.
