Friday 26th June 2020 – Babies 1.
Happy Friday from the Babies 1 Room! 😊 This morning we greeted our friends with a nice welcoming cuddle so they are safe and secure for the day with their regular educators – Miss Kate and Miss Lilly! It is wonderful to see our new friend Daris settling in so nicely and he has already bonded such a trusting relationship and is definitely a confident and involve learner as he explores the room happily. 😊
Edward, Daris, Miller and Peyton self-selected the assorted wooden toys to explore this morning practicing their coordination skills and concentration spans with the puzzles too. 😊
This morning Miss Kate provided our friends with some red playdough to practice their sensory skills and fine motor development as they prodded and poked the squishy playdough. Edward smiled using non-verbal language as he checked out this experience at our new table! 😊
Other learning included singing action songs throughout the day today which is great for our language and vocabulary development. Some of favourite songs at the moment include –
- Twinkle Little Star.
- If you’re happy and you know it.
- Incy Wincy Spider.
- Acknowledgment of Country.
Lastly the animal coaster bought in from her home have been a particular hit with Miller this morning who is getting better at imitating animal noises whilst being in a supportive environment. 😊
