Welcome to another fun filled week in the Babies 1 room families and friends! 😊
This Monday we started off by showing our support to the community service workers in our sad fire times by donating money, food and water to those in need. Some of us also dressed up as their favourite community service worker and we had Constable Millie in her Police car and costume alongside Abel the SES worker! Miss Kate and Miss Jess wore a splash of red and a Fireman Sam Hat to show their support too! Well done everyone! 😊
We have been focusing on ‘Enriched Caregiving’ lately whereby we make the most of every routine and transition to promote back and forth interactions to increase our language and learning. This assists us to reach Learning Outcome 5 of the Early Years Learning Framework, ‘Children are effective communicators.’ 😊 All of our children have been responding really well to this and today we had lots of smiles especially from Abel, Alexia, Edward and Oliver at these times.
Alexia and Orion explored the stacking ring toys which they self-selected from the shelves this morning. Edward is loving our new Bumbo seat to be more upright and working on his core muscles and we are happy to see that Oliver is settling in nicely and bonding well with his educators. 😊
Thanks for a nice day Babies 1 – Miss Kate and Jess. 😊 😊
