Good Evening to our Babies 1 families and friends! Our Monday started off by Miss Shelby welcoming our friends, Quinn, Alanis, Edward, Abel, Millie and Orion. Miss Kate arrived soon after following Miss Jess and Luca and we all enjoyed morning tea which consisted of fruit and yoghurt. Quinn, Alanis and Luca explored the crayon drawings at the table with Miss Jess this morning practicing our hand-eye coordination skills and pre literacy development. Edward smiled as he explored the rattles and musical instruments today, whilst Abel has been practicing waving and clapping hands to action songs. A big thank you to Nads for buying some beautiful new books which Quinn, Alanis, Orion, Luca and Millie responded really well too. Vygotsky believed that social interaction is important for language development and thinking processes in children.
