Good Evening Babies 1 families and friends! Welcome to another fun filled week ahead with lots of amazing activities planned for our little cherubs to reach their full potentials in their supportive environment here alongside Miss Kate. 😊 This week we will be talking about upcoming ANZAC DAY with our little ones to pay our respects and Miss Kate has already organised our ‘Interpretation of a Poppy’ Display to be put up in our room for us all to admire. Rosie and Edward couldn’t wait to participate in this experience. 😊 This teaches the children to be connected to their world which fits under LEARNING OUTCOME 2 of the EARLY YEARS LEARNING FRAMEWORK. 😊 We have also been responding nicely to our action songs as always and ‘Old Mac Donald had a Farm’ has been a real favourite lately using the animal hand puppets as visual aids to gain our attention which helps to develop our language and cognitive skills as the learning takes place. 😊 Every day here in the Babies 1 Room we are passionate advocates for the ABECEDARIAN APPROACH which is a language enriched program – you can tell by our WORD WALL that it is helping our children to say many recognisable words and here is what some of our saying already! 😊
• Bella – “More” “Happy” “Mum” “Baby”
• Oliver – “Ta”
• Scarlett – “Gabi” “Dada”
• Ava – “Bye Bye”
• Edward – “More”
Peyton and Parker happily self-selected one of new rattles to explore this morning and they curiously checked out the coloured beads inside to whilst watching it as they shook it. 😊 Outside playtime is always popular with our friends here and today we explored the rocking dinosaurs, little cars on the mat that we borrowed from our toddlers room, diggers and the big shaped soft blocks to practice our physical development. 😊 Lastly our little ones thought it was fun to explore the duplo blocks inside on the mat today which is beneficial for our coordination and concentration skills. 😊

Thanks for a fantastic day Babies 1 – Miss Kate. 😊
