Hello everyone! Monday soon comes around again here in the busy Babies 1 Room with Miss Kate and we are looking forward to making the most of this beautiful weather again by being outside as much as possible! 😊 Our goals for this week include finalising our MOTHER’S DAY CRAFTS with your little cherubs in readiness for the special day just around the corner to celebrate our Mummies! The children learn dispositions such as curiosity, creativity, imagination and confidence as they become involved learners here in the Babies 1 Room. Some activities that include us developing in these areas are – Art and Crafts, Group times, Problem solving, Imagination and Fine motor skills. 😊 Feel free to check out the link to the EARLY YEARS LEARNING FRAMEWORK to give you more information about our learning outcomes and how this is used to guide your child’s learning here.

This morning the children all get excited to participate in a variety of ABECEDARIAN APPROACHES throughout the day to extend their learning and language whilst being in a supportive environment. Feel free to ask Miss Kate if you would like some simple ways how you can incorporate this at home. 😊 Peyton thought it a fantastic start to the day by being in a mixed grouping environment to start her day alongside some of our older friends looking at the rattles and musical toys. The children learn great skills from observing their older friends and it is a nice way to begin our days too as it gets the babies familiar with other children and educators. 😊 Watch out everyone as Edward is now confidently on the move and walking almost everywhere! This has been one of his goals in his developmental book and we have added in an observation to which documents this massive physical milestone! Well done Edward! 😊 Parker is becoming more confident every day and her development is coming on in leaps and bounds. Today she practised self-feeding herself some yummy fruit salad! 😊

Thank you for beautiful start to the week one and all – if you have any questions please ask Miss Kate as I am only too happy to help you.
Kind Regards Miss Kate – Babies 1 Lead Educator. 😊
