MONDAY 3rd AUGUST 2020 – BABIES 1.
Hello one and all from Miss Kate and Miss Jade stepping in for Miss Lilly today on this happy day in the Babies 1 Room. 😊 We began our day self-selecting toys of interest from our shelves and being confident explorers in the paly spaces provided for us! This morning Jackson form Babies 2, alongside Luna our new friend and Oliver took an interest in some of our wooden shaker toys to increase our cognitive, learning skills. 😊 We welcomed Luna, our new little friend to the Babies 1 Room who fitted in a treat with lots of happy smiles throughout the day! Charlie extended her language development by Miss Kate providing some one-to-one conversational reading opportunities today! 😊 Parker, Oliver and Jackson contributed to making a didgeridoo this morning with the start of one our new Aboriginal Displays in the room to increase our creative skills and being respectful of our traditional owners of this land. 😊 We listened to the music of Geoffrey Gurrumul – a famous traditional Aboriginal singer today and also participated in spontaneous singing throughout the day which all children responded well too. 😊 Edward had a successful little transition visit in the Babies 3 room this morning which went well as he certainly is a confident and involved child in our room. 😊
