Welcome to another action packed week here in the Babies 1 room. 😊 We had a group of six little friends today and had an inside day due to the rainy weather. Quinn, Orion and Millie explored the duplo blocks practicing their coordination and concentration skills. Luca and Quinn participated in some free drawings with coloured pencils at the table this morning. Steiner believed children need free creative play to develop their mind, bodies and spirits. 😊 Orion, Luca, Millie and Quinn spent some time in the play home area with our kitchen set up with pots and pans. Abel is gaining in strength for his pre-crawling practice and we also encouraged Edward to try out some tummy time today. Lastly it is the first day of NAIDOC WEEK today where we acknowledge the ATSI people to be the traditional owners of this land. We have been practicing actions to songs to a ‘Welcome to Country’ in the Babies 1 room which we are getting better at copying hand signals which is really cute!
