Thursday 14th May 2020 – Babies 1. ♥
HELLO EVERYONE! Almost the end of another fun filled active week here in the Babies 1 Room and we all have enjoyed a wonderful day with Miss Lyn in our room today alongside Miss Kate. The children surprised Miss Gabi with an early HAPPY BIRTHDAY sing song and a card that we made for being it her special day coming up on Saturday! The children continue to bloom in all areas of development with learning and milestones being met every day – today we focused on assisting Peyton’s solitary standing skills as one her goals that her Mum had set in her learning portfolio. Also it was Scarlett’s turn to thrive and practice her language and vocabulary skills as a follow up to an observation. We love supporting and observing your children on a daily basis and always welcome your feedback anytime. A big THANK YOU to Miss Jena for donating us some toys from the Babies 3 Room such as our colourful balls that Edward absolutely loves – a future soccer star in the making maybe. Our other learning today included us all responding well to favourite action songs throughout the day as not only does this assist with our language development, we also learn to imitate actions which enhances our cognitive and fine motor skills. We have been focusing on setting up some different learning environments for your children to explore and today outside Miller and Parker found delight in the dolls tea party in the tent outside. Lots of smiles were had by the two beautiful little girls and we hope you enjoy our photos! Don’t forget to keep us informed of any changes to your child’s daily routine as we closely match it here as aim to operate like a home away from home.
