BABIES 1 – THURSDAY 23rd JULY 2020.
Welcome to fun Thursday here in the Babies 1 Room with Miss Kate and Miss Lilly! 😊 This morning the children seemed hungry early so we tucked into morning tea first thing before having our morning sleeps for the day. We have a guided flexible routine here in the Babies 1 Room so you children feel safe and secure and they are also learn best when they can predict what’s happening whilst being in a supportive environment. 😊
Miss Lilly took some of our friends out for a play alongside our friends from the Babies 2 Room today for some sensory play with sand and bark! We smiled as we explored the textures between our fingers and were very curious and confident learners. 😊
This morning the children self-selected balls to practice their throwing and kicking, which extends their physical gross motor skills and coordination. We also enjoyed some one-to-one time with Miss Kate by increasing our language development by being exposed to conversational reading. 😊 Our new stickle bricks toy have been very popular today as the children manipulate the pieces and practice fine motor skills and grasping. Spontaneous singing is always a big part of our day here which all the children love and are learning to be effective communicators both verbally and non-verbally. 😊 We teach our children to show respect and be connected to their world by singing the ‘Acknowledgement of Country’ every morning as part of our daily routine! 😊
Thank you for a great day Babies 1 – Miss Kate and Miss Lilly.
