A big HELLO from the Babies 1 Room with Miss Kate and Amanda today on this terrific Tuesday. We welcomed just the 3 little friends today including – Bella, Oliver and Miller. This enabled lots of transition times for some of older friends to get a feel of their new room in Babies 3 with Miss Jena. 😊As of yesterday morning, we began our days by introducing an ‘Acknowledgement of Country’ to pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The children cotton on quickly to songs with actions to go along with them so please see our room walls for some of many favourites. 😊
Miss Gabi, one of our regular educators in the room gave us some RED playdough to explore this morning, and we practised our fine motor skills by manipulating it and feeling the texture. All children; Miller, Oliver and Bella happily and confidently explored this today. 😊
This morning allowed for some outside play as the weather stayed dry and it was a welcome change to make the most of. The push-along toys were a definite favourite. 😊 Rogoff believed that adults have a role in guiding children’s learning.
