Tuesday 5th May 2020 – Babies 1. ♥
Good Evening one and all from the Babies 1 Room with Miss Kate! We trust you all enjoyed your long weekend with your loved ones making the most of these beautiful days we are having at the moment. This morning Charlie and Miller couldn’t wait to explore outside and Miss Kate had set up some wonderful learning environments for us to explore including –
• Shapes in the sandpit.
• Cars and trucks on the mat.
• Singing favourite songs.
• Soft mega climbing blocks.
• Puppets in the tent.
• Rocking dinosaurs.
Charlie explored the stacking ring toy that she self-selected herself with a big smiles on her face as she practised her hand-eye coordination skills to place the rings on the pole. Miller is gaining in strength and coordination daily with her solo walking skills which was a follow up to her observation and goal today in her developmental portfolio. Charlie also isn’t far behind her too with lots of steady steps happening today with big proud smiles on her face. We have pretty finalised our MOTHER’S DAY crafts for our Mummy’s and are starting to send them home, so we hope you enjoy them as much as your child had fun creating them for you. Miss Kate uses intentional teaching strategies for your little one to develop a range of skills when doing planned activities, including –
• Hand-eye coordination skills.
• Fine motor skills.
• Concentration spans.
• Physical development.
• Cognitive development.
Our ‘Acknowledgment of Country’ is part of our regular and repetitive morning routines as children thrive in regular and reoccurring routines to learn the best! Lastly the BUBBLES are always a favourite time of the day as Miller and Charlie showed joy in watching them float by in the breeze outside.
Thanks for a wonderful day Babies 1 – Miss Kate ♥
