Wednesday 11th March 2020.
Welcome to Wednesday in the Babies 1 Room with just the 4 friends today including – Bentley, Miller, Oliver and Edward. 😊 After morning tea, Miss Kate initiated our ‘Acknowledgment of Country’ and some other favourite action songs including –
• If you’re happy and you know it.
• Open, shut them.
• Twinkle, Twinkle little star.
All of our children are gaining in confidence daily to participate in action songs following their educators leads and practicing imitating simple hand actions. Oliver absolutely loved the BUBBLES this morning, giggling as he saw Miss Kate get them out this morning. 😊 Miller, Edward and Oliver all practiced their pre-walking skills using the walker for assistance with lots of verbal encouragement and praise from Miss Kate. It won’t be too long now until they all take off. 😊
Miss Gabi initiated playdough with our friends today which was a great way to practice their fine motor skills and develop their curiosity and confidence. 😊 Bentley especially responded well to some one-to-one conversational reading with Miss Kate this morning. Don’t forget to add to our WORD WALL in the Babies 1 Room as this is a collaborative effort between our families and us here too. Thank you to all families who are continuing to add developmental milestone goals to your feedback slips. There are still some spare ones, so just ask us if you need another one. 😊
