Wednesday 13th May 2020. ♥

Hello and welcome to the Babies 1 Room with Miss Kate on this fantastic day! The children have been responding really well to the outside environment that we have been focusing on setting up some engaging play spaces for all to explore. Parker, Edward and Charlie couldn’t wait to get outside to head straight for the sandpit with the connecting blocks and diggers to practice their gross motor skills this morning. Parker self-selected the musical piano mat on the floor learning cause and effect as she pressed the buttons to make music with a big smile on her face. Charlie has been practising her coordination skills as she walks pretty much everywhere now as an extension to her gross motor learning which Mum set this goal for her. Please let me know if you have any goals you would like to see your child achieve and we can work towards this here too as consistency is key and we like to operate a home away from home environment. If anyone is interested in reading more about the EARLY YEARS LEARNING FRAMEWORK which guide our practices with your precious children, please follow the link below. This is Australia’s first national Early Years Learning Framework for early childhood educators. The aim of this document is to extend and enrich children’s learning from birth to five years and through the transition to school.

If anyone is missing a bottle I have one here with no name and if you can all have a look at home for a bottle with Edward’s name on please as this has gone missing too – many thanks.
Thank you Babies 1 for a wonderful day! Miss Kate X ♥
