Welcome to Wacky Wednesday in the Babies 1 room with a full house today! We were happy to welcome back Miss Jess today alongside Miss Kate. This morning the children moved freely around the room self-selecting toys of interest which included –
• Home area with kitchen and dolls – Quinn, Millie, Alanis, Willow, Orion and Kezia.
• Puzzles on shelf and the small bead frame toys for coordination and concentration spans.
• Duplo blocks for building and practicing our fine motor skills.
• Edward practiced his tummy and Bentley crawling practice as an extension of their individual goals this morning.
Please keep us up to date with any changes to your babies routines as we will adapt it here for consistency and care. Also, if you are working on a developmental milestone goal with your child let us know so we can further encourage it here too. The children respond well to spontaneous singing throughout the day and language is key to how babies learn and develop in all areas. Vygotsky believed that social interaction plays a major role in the development of children and that they involve communicating.
Thanks for a good day Babies 1 – Miss Kate and Miss Jess. 😊 😊
