Hello families
Welcome to babies two room. Miss.Hansani and Miss.T’arn welcomed Avery, Max,Tairongo, Jackson and Cameron in the morning with big cuddles. It has been an amazing day with all the kids and nice activities we did during the day. Avery was settled so well in the room today. We spent most of our day playing inside to keep our bodies nice and warm. We have been engaging with a nice painting session in the morning as an extension for our children’s learning. Max engaged with sponge painting using yellow and red colour. He was very interested to use red colour and fill his whole paper using the sponge. Jackson and Avery also enjoyed their sponge painting. Avery observed the sponge first and started to put some paint on the paper slowly. Jackson used his hand and fingers properly to hold the paint brush. Cameron couldn’’t wait to have his turn. He was so understandable what was going on. He grabbed his paint brush and used different colours to do his painting. Tairongo also joined with Cameron when we offered him a paper and a paint brush. After the painting session, we enjoyed doing some puzzles as children love group times. Avey, Cameron, Jackson and Tairongo were so excited to sit around the table to explore all the puzzles we set up. Dinosaurs, and shape puzzle were their favourite.
In the afternoon, children will be engaging with some outdoor experiences while having some nice and fresh air. We will be exploring the sand pit with shovels and buckets, push cows, tricycles, climbing beam and soft blocks.
