HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!
We have had such a busy, fun-filled day today!! Everybody looked super cute in their Jeans today for Jeans for Genes Day. We had to get a class photo! Due to the wet weather we spent the morning inside. After our yummy morning tea Miss T’arn changed all the children into our art T-shirts and Smocks to get ready for some fun and super messy art activity. Miss Emma and Miss Nads gave us all a pair of Jeans and asked that we do art on them. We decided it would be so much fun to just let them go wild with paint, glitter and pompoms!! The children had so much fun and a lot of them were COVERED in paint!! During our painting and VERY MESSY art activity Miss Emma came in to tell us it was a lock down drill!!!! We had to wipe the children as much a possible and get them into the cot room where it is safe. The children were very very confused as to why we had to go in the cot room. After we got the all clear from Miss Emma we went back and finished our painting. It was a very very busy morning!! After we were all cleaned up we put our clean clothes on and sat down for a yummy lunch, which the children really loved!! Fish, Noodles and veggies! Yummm!! Thank you Chef David for all our yummy meals.
Miss T’arn stuck some streamers on our fan and turned the fan on. Noah was soooo excited and was laughing and jumping up and down screaming “woaaahhhh!!!!!” because of Noah’s excitement Max, Jackson, Cameron, Thomas, Spencer and Liz also joined in the excitement, jumping, yelling and pointing to the streamers spinning on the fan!!
We have had so much fun today! We are hoping the rain stays away so we can have a play outside this afternoon!!
