Hello Riversdale families,
Welcome back to an exciting new week!
Today, as we all came inside we sat on the mat for our daily group time and got to enjoy some story time with Miss Tárn! As this week is BOOK WEEK we are excited to have some story fun! Today, We read ‘Macca the Alpaca’ and showed our little friends the Lama teddy that we have in our room that looked like the alpaca we saw in the book today 🙂
We then got to enjoy some free-play inside our room, amongst all of our fun toys; we all played very nicely today 🙂 Soon after we got to participate in some ice-painting as a little free-spirit creative activity! The children love engaging in some arts and craft!
It was then time for lunch and a little rest. Today we did very well practicing our self-help skills by getting our beds ready and learning to pack away after ourselves 🙂 It’s awesome that we are learning these little skills early to help develop our independence and get us all ready for next year!
