♥♥ HELLO BABIES 2!! ♥♥
This morning, Miss T’arn, Miss Hope and Miss Danica welcomed, Halle, Noah, Finley, Thomas, Cameron, Max, and Liz to the classroom with big cuddles after the long weekend. The children were very excited to be back at daycare and seeing their friends again. This children enjoy playing outside in the morning, climbing, sitting and reading stories and playing with the Lego blocks on the mat. We enjoyed a picnic morning tea outside while Miss T’arn organized some painting for the children. Some of the children had seen the delivery truck this morning when arriving to daycare and were telling us about the truck and the Finley and Thomas were telling us about the bus they had seen and wanted to sing wheels on the bus. Miss T’arn decided to print out some pictures of trucks and buses for the children to paint today. They used yellow paint for the bus and red paint for the fire truck. Some of the children wanted to mix the colours together to make orange. Miss T’arn and Miss Danica took 3 children in for painting at a time to give the children their space to explore the paint with their hands at their own pace. This worked really well for the children. Miss Hope enjoyed singing and dancing with the other children outside. The children have had such a great day and really enjoyed painting with their hands. We are excited to add this artwork to our classroom.
We were all so tired after the long weekend with our families. We are enjoying a nice long nap to reset for the afternoon!
